A: One of the most memorable experiences I've had is a day on the Rupert River in Northern Quebec. As I was pulling my jig out of the water and in to the boat a pike blasted through the surface foam and took it.
Q: What style/technique are you currently working on?
A: I'm currently working on perfecting the techniques related to float fishing. I'm always trying to improve my casting and bait presentation. I'm trying to get away from using spawn and hopefully in the coming seasons I'll be experimenting with drifting more artificials. It seems as though this technique really hasn't been utilized by the majority of float fishermen.
Q: What's your next new challenge/interest going to be?
A: My next challenge is pole fishing and everything related
Q: If you could change one thing in the fishing community, what would it be?
A: It would have to be to respect land owners rights. What I mean by this is leaving the area you fished looking like you were never there as well as have fishermen police themselves. We're all old enough to know we need to pick up after ourselves, and besides, there are kids watching what we do so we need to set a good example for future generations.
