Stinger series rods were designed for the scandinavian style of spey fishing, utilizing shooting heads and an underhand casting method. Keep in mind that the below numbers should be taken as a general guide, and it is common practice to adjust the lines by cutting them back to suit conditions.

Hardy lines- In general, use one line weight heavier than the rod designation. i.e. if your rod is rated 8/9, it performs best with a 9/10 line
