Dredger Series Spey Line Chart

Dredger series rods were tested with short belly (50-60' heads) spey lines with the end of the belly at the rod tip. Many Skagit caters prefer a line of only 3-3.5 times the rod length (including any sink tips). While there were no skagit style lines in production at the time of the rod testing, you can make your own by modifying a production line. For those interested in trying, start by selecting a MH or H line. Cut out a portion of the belly and front taper to achieve a head length of 3-3.5 times the rod length.
