An old midge pattern, one of the easiest to tie.

Step By Step:
|
Start with a good thread base; stop at bend.
|
Tie in one strand of peacock herl and one hackle feather.
|
Wrap herl forward and tie off, then palmer the hackle forward and tie off. Half hitch or whip finish, cement if desired.
