The Ephoron, or White Mayfly is one of the last hatches of the season on Eastern rivers. They can be found from mid-August to mid-September, and hatch at dusk.

Step By Step:
Start thread and wrap back to the middle of the shank.
Tie in tailing fibers at the bend.
Dub tapered body as shown.
Tie in post. Click HERE for a "How To" article on tying posts.
Tie in hackle feather as shown.
Wrap hackle, tie off, and whip finish.
