The Ephoron, or White Mayfly is one of the last hatches of the season on Eastern rivers. They can be found from mid-August to mid-September, and hatch at dusk.

Step By Step:

Start thread and wrap back to the middle of the shank.

Tie in tailing fibers at the bend.
|
Dub tapered body as shown.
|
