hey guys, fished niagara today, had a hardcore east wind which blew for most of the morning, which means the canadian side is stirred and ugly right to the bar! spent 5hrs in the boat with no luck, my dad caught a jigging spoon while bottom bouncing but that was it! saw 1 fish caught on shore in queenston, a sucker and the guy looker pretty disguested to have it come across his line! as for the east wind, blows the cold water into shore and screws up everything for a couple days! didn't deteer the smelt fishers tonite though! saw a C.O in queenston tonight, i'd imagine lots of tickets for fires, beer and tresspassing!
tight lines

I always find the East, and Northeast winds clear the river up. The heavier Southwest winds make it dirty because they stir up Lake Erie. Funny how the parts of the river we fish are effected by different wind direction. In fact the water was so clear today that coupled with the drop in temperature we noted a slower day today than we had all week. Lots of Bucks today, so here are a couple of boys that were in good shape.
