Some new flies that I'm going to flog in a couple months in hopes of catching a fish.... or should i say some flies that I'm going to wash while I practice casting . As you can tell I don't excel at fly tying, however I don't mind since they seem to get the job done ! I'm sure you've also notice I do enjoy purple, and also enjoy fishing larger style flies.
Tight lines (hopefully)

PEte,
That soft hackle in the upper left hand corner looks familiar . Haved you tried tying the fly up yet?

Randy,
I have not.... but now that you've reminded my forgetful self I certainly will (now lets see if I'll be able to find the tying instructions ) !
And... a couple more monstrosities that came of the vice last night over a nip of Johny Walker redlabel.... hmmm come to think of it, maybe that's my problem
These are all tied with 2 colours of spey hackle with a spun marabou collar. In comparison to a popsicle style fly the spey hackle seems to provide more body in a sparcer profile.
