We have had below freezing temps for the last week. A few die hard steelheaders have been catching a few but not many. The ice fishing is starting to pick up on the bay and a few steelies have been caught there. I do NOT reccomend going out on the ice, it has not been cold long enough and it is supposed to warm up into possibly the 40s by Monday and Tuesday. At this time it looks like if you want to do some fishin this weekend that the mouth at Walnut Creek Access will be your best bet. Hopefully you will be able to keep the bait flyin and the fish jumpin.
