Too Cool for Spey School?
Spey casting and fishing on the tributaries to the Great Lakes for steelhead and
smallmouth is becoming increasingly popular. If you’ve ever thought about learning to
spey cast with a single-hand rod, “switch” rod, or two-hand rod this school is for you.
Expert instruction from an experienced teacher will get you on the water spey casting
and fishing with confidence.
The 2 day spey school will cover selecting the proper equipment for fishing the Great
Lakes region, basic theory and terminology of spey casting, basic spey casts, Skagit
casting, and specific casting exercises for practice on your own. Casts that will be taught
are: Double Spey, Circle/Snap-T, Single Spey, Snake Roll.
Dates: April 26-27th, 2008

Will Turek is a fly fishing manufacturer’s sales rep and expert fly caster with
10 years teaching experience. For the last 7 years Will has taught students single
and two-hand spey casting techniques. Will received his FFF Basic Casting Certification
in 1998 and is currently working on his FFF Two Handed Casting Instructor

Book it now. Very Happy

As an instructor myself I have cast and fished with Will and can most certainly reccomend him as an Instructor.
You will be guaranteed a great time on the river and learns loads of stuff.
