| This spring I would like to carpet the inside of my aluminum boat, anyone know the best way to attach the carpet to aluminum? I thought about 3m spray trim adhesive. thanks for any info you can provide.....jeff |

Jeff,
If it's straight to aluminum I'd opt for some kind of commercial adhesive that you pour or brush on. Check out one of the big home centers and see what they use for thier indoor / outdoor carpeting. I've done it once but had marine grade plywood to attache the carpet to. Not sure the 3M spray adhesive would last very long or provide a good bond on an irregular surface.
Let us know how the "wall to wall shag" turned out!

| sounds like a good idea, I'll go that route... "wall to wall shag" lol, I had shag in my room when I was a teenager !!! along with black lights, hendrix posters, ahhh the good old days!!!!!! |
