Just bought a Raven Classic. Didn't test yet. Any toughts? I hope it's good 'cause I've already bought mine!! lol

just bought the Raven Vectra SSt. Will try it out on my local river tomorrow...
Good luck with the learning curve. I expect a few birds nest till I get the hang if it.. |

Fished the raven vectra on a St Croix 13' rod Sunday, my local river was running high but I managed to catch a small brown trout...
I have alot to learn with the shot placement, but I actually did pretty darn good casting - got a few 40 to 50 foot casts, Learned real quick that you have to brake the reel when the float hits the water...
I was quite impressed with the drift that this puppy provides...
I am glad to be a pinhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to head up to Salmon River all winter long and crush them steelies....LOL |
