Nice Ditch.
I have a Shikari jig stick on the wrapper for a while now (been too busy fishing and working on the boat) As well as a Raven 15' IM8 (handles finished)
Too much going on up here in the way too short summer! |

Cal West CR-
Tell us about the rod with the green and chartreuse thread, the blank, the guide choice, actual thread colors...
It is STUNNING!

Hey Domenic, The blank is a Rainshadow IF1266-4, the guides are LTCVSAG'S with the exception of the last guide from the tip were I used a LTCFAG to make a smoother transition.
The thread is 4 different shades of Maderia, it's amazing how dressed up shading makes a simple chevron look.

I started using Maderia thread for my weaves since there's over 300 colors to choose from but have pretty much gone to using it exclusively on my guide wraps also.

Madeira thread requires CP all the time. Have you experienced any difficulty with fish eyes and such even with the application of CP?
Thanks for the info...great looking wraps.

| Your absolutely right about using cp being that Maderia is actually embroidery thread and has a slight amount of silicone since it's made to run thru machines. That being said I haven't had any fish-eye problems since I've gotten away from Gudebrod 811 and gone to the Diamondite cp. |
