|
|
Came across an opporunity yesterday to pick up a Float rod from the friend of my brother in-law. Seems this man has a few float rods and he is cleaning out his closet and will let me pick one up at a great price, and I can choose which one.
So here are my choices:
Lamiglas certified Pro X 13LS-SB 13' a 3 piece
Raven Matrix 12"9" a 3 piece
How do they comare to each other?
Other other quick question, any one have any info on the following:
St Croix WST116LM2 11'6" is listed as a drift/float rod
Thanks in advance |

The Lamiglas Certifies Pro is the better rod. Get it and hurry before he changes his mind. |

Oh well I'll have james Just build me one. Its just that one had sentimental value. It was the first float rod I ever fished. |

Mad,
The Lamiglas over the Matrix.....no brainer.... As far as the St. Croix you were asking about goes... I had one of those myself, although i sold it. It is actually a very nice rod for the money. It is a little bit soft in the tip, but what can you expect for under $100. It makes a good smaller stream Steelhead rod. I had no complaints with mine. |
