This weekend I had to take an entrance exam to get into Pharmacy grad school in the Soo, so naturally I decided to hit the rapids while I was in the area. After a 4 hour drive in the rain on Friday and a 6 hour long exam Saturday morning, I was more than ready to hit the water. I have never fished the rapids before, but one of my buddies that goes to Lake Superior State assured me we would see our floats drop plenty of times and he was right. Between a few hours Saturday evening and Sunday morning we landed 6 different species; kings, cohos, pinks, atlantics, steelhead and even a laker. I couldn't believe there were fresh pinks and kings still in there on October 20th! Needless to say, I am impressed with the fishery up there and plan on making it back there in the future. Here's some fish . for everyone, I never got a pic of the coho, but here's some of the others, enjoy!
