| Well as most of you probably know by now we got a LOT of rain the last week. Approx. 3 inches. There has been a lot of flooding, thus for most of the week the creeks have been unfishable. But the last couple days things have settled down a little so the creeks are comng back down. Yesterday, Thursday, the fishing was fair. The bait shops anticipate that by later today and tomorrow the creeks should be in decent shape for reasonable fishing conditions. There is no ice anywhere that I am aware of for ice fishing. This weekend it is supposed to get cold again, really cold, so by Sunday ice may be a problem for trying to fish for the steelies. So I guess from what I've heard and observed Saturday may be the best and only day for some decent fishing. Hopefully we will be able to keep the bait flyin and the fish jumpin for a while yet. |
