Well I struck out this fall on steel - but at least my middle guy didn't. This is from a few weeks ago and the first one he hooked took him well down the river. This is the first he landed.
I love to brag about my steelhead boys. And I finally figured out how to e mail pics from my cell phone.

Naw, they can just steal dad's stuff... I know when I was younger, what gear my dad had eventually became mine as well...

They can have all of Dad's old stuff. He caught that on old {richard} Swan 10' IM6 and a Cardinal C3 reel. Maybe that makes my kid a "retro or old school" fisherman.
Touch Dad's Mykiss and we will take a little walk to the shed

I fish with "old" IMX rods, with Cardinal C-3 reels most of the time. They have worked very well for me, for a long time. Still a great way for anyone to catch a Steelhead. It is good for kids to learn about "The Yank," when a steelhead eats a drifted spawnbag.
Nice fishing, AKFLY. Can't beat that smile for anything.

LOL, Definitely man. No complaints on this side. Hopefully we get a little warm spot in the weather so they can come over here and show everyone how it's done soon.
