Perch and walleye have been hitting good, but now steelhead season is heating up so I thought you steelheaders might like the latest I've heard. There are a lot of the steelies in the mouth of the creeks. Both Elk and Walnut have been getting good reports, but they are only in the mouths. We desperately need rain to move the fish up in further and they aren't really calling for any until next week. But I understand they are using single eggs, minnows, and jigs and doing good with the ones they are getting. Perch and walleye are still hitting from what I hear. I will keep you posted as I hear things.
