Caught stripers and fluke today on the float gear...quite fun Very Happy Will put pictures up once I figure out to get them off of my phone.

Fished the 7wt this afternoon to breaking striped bass on nearly every cast, and not another person around. Birds diving and fish swirling...doesn't get much better!

Understatement

Actually had shots at albies with the pin from the dock I caught the other centerpin fish on. 350+ days until next year Wink I am sure I will make it south at sometime this winter as well.

So that's what an Albie looks like. Surprised Good on ya! and Fluke on a pin, that's got to be a first.

Fished the same area a few AM's the week before you got there. That's pretty well my report . Talked to a few flyguys and shoulda been there last week.. and apparently the week after Laughing

Thanks for the pointers and directions for a great trip. Like I said, fish weren't in, hey that's fishn'.
