hi, just wondering if anyone has any input on fishing Alaska for Kings and reds? My husband and I are going next month July 3rd-10th to Gulkana river for some canoing, camping and fishing. Thought some of you might have some pearls of wisdom in catching kings/reds.
I have some gear and will buy more there, just wondering techniques and gear that might have worked for you.
I am new to river fishing, I have only caught silvers, pinks and grayling in my last visits, so I need all the advice one is willing to give.
thanks--ER |

Hello??? is there anybody home or are all your junkies still out on the water?
I'm Kinda surprised no one has answered this yet.
I brought her to this site because I want her to learn from some of the best and not get all the BS.
She's a serious girl about her fishing adventures and has become increasingly interested in salmon. She'll also being doing some steelheading this spring. She's kind of getting a little chrome addiction going. lol She has tight closed lips and lives for fishing and hutning. She's not asking you guys to take all the fun out of it, just a little guidance so her purchases for gear in Alaska are well spent.
Don't worry guys, she's nothing like me. lol Don't be scared. lolol |
