Last week it was cold, rainy/snowy. Today it is BEAUTIFUL. Nice blue sky, sunny, in the 60s. Welcome to NW PA. This weekend will probably be about it for the spring run of steelhead. The seem to be hitting out on the bay better than the tribs right now. The past week there have been some caught, some nice ones and some fresh ones. The opening day of trout wasn't the greatest, but there were a few caught. The bait shops are saying that if you want to do some trout fishing later there should be some nice catches, since they weren't caught on opening day. I haven't head how the perch are doing out on the lake yet, it's probably a little early for them. Keep the bait flyin and the fish jumpin this weekend. Oh yea, you may want to wear your sunglasses.
