With the tax returns comeing soon I'm going to be in the market for new reel. I already own a mykiss 2 and it will be burried with me to say the least I was wondering if I should get another solid backplate model or pick up something else like the milner or something. I know the subject has been beat to death but now I'll pay attention |

| I like my 1 better than my 2, The solid gives me a better cast with a little bigger presentation. I can really put the boots to it- NO flex at all. |

All I can say is I own both of them and they are by far the best reels I have fished. I had the Mykiss 2 and didn't care for the porting in the backplate, seemed to draw in the gunk from miles around. Great reel which ever you decide.
