Just curious to hear some of your thoughts on Ironsilk line for float fishing. I have been using Ande Premium for years, but am always looking to upgrade to a more effective product. The largest problem that I can see, based on the sample of this line that I have, is that it appears to have a good amount of memory...which would be a problem esp with lighter rigs.
Just curious,

It seems like when I try to find a different line to use I always end up switching back to the old reliable Ande premium. I'll be trying a different line on my shallow drum center pin when it's fixed. I was thinking about the Gamagatsu line in the four to six pound range or some other match fishing line. I'll let you know when I get the reel back.

I find ironsilk to be a great line, it is cheap, floats good, and is very durable. The only problems that I have had with it were in colder weather with line twisting up.

I always use Maxima. Either the ultra green or the chamelion. Works good for me!
