for a great lakes Spey outfit

been having a on/off conversation with PEte on MSN last few days. wondering what line class the Spey'ers on here use the most.

PEte and i think a #7Wt is more then sufficient for here in Ontario. any thoughts?

Sage,
I'll go out on a limb and say an 8/9 would be much more versatile without being overkill. 7's won't handle a full range of tips which you're likely to want to use in the future. Your streams do seem to be a good bit shallower on average, but even casting a T-3 tip on a 7wt all day long can get tiring.

Best,

Brian
