Down by the river Posted: Mon May 12, 2008 12:20 am    Post subject: Detroit River Fished the Detroit River this weekend and had a great time! The fish seem to be running late every where this year. The fishing was slower than expected but picked away at them all day. Lot's of white bass- couldn't even get my bait to the bottom in some spots. Bob got a master angler white bass 2.5 pounds and just over 16 inches. What a fun trip we caught walleye, smallmouth, whitebass, and two muskies.
