| Well it has truly been an interesting week here in NW PA. Last weekend we got that snow storm that came thru and DUMPED 24" of snow on us in 2 days. And then this week it is back up in the 40s. They were calling for rain today but they say now it may miss us, which will be good. Even though we got a lot of snow the melt off has been slow but steady thus the creeks have been at a fairly good level. We have been getting good reports from the anglers staying here, they did real good on Elk yesterday. Good numbers of fish have been reported in all the creeks with a good number of fresh ones being caught. It didn't get as cold last night so the slush may not be as bad this morning, but it has been burning off fairly quickly anyway. But the water level will probably be a little higher this morning. I haven't been able to get out of anyone what bait has been working the best for them. All in all it should be some good fishin in all area creeks. So keep the bait flyin and the fish jumpin. |
