Decided to try my luck on the lower this morning. Arrived about 8:00 to find two anglers on the back eddy and a couple of boats out. No real wind to speak of and a light snow falling.

The water level is way down, the flow is lower than normal and the visibility is from 0-6" at best. Large number of gulls out in the middle of the river feeding on bait fish. Stayed for about 90 minutes - not even a hint of a bite. None of the other anglers (boat or shore) seem to be getting any hits.

Ed,
Thanks for the report. i'm sure you saved more than a few guys from running down to find it doubledouble.
