Anyone out there beat the piss out of an small aluminium boat so that it leaks through the hull. Ive tried putting water inside the boat and spotting the leaks from the underside - but my leak(s) are somewhere I can't see because it runs down the inside of the keel protector before showing. I can get the boat bone dry and by the time I get back to shore I always have water around the drain plug.
Any suggestions for repair? I'm cheap. And lazy. Guess the sucker wasn't made for rocks..and logs..and big waves! Seriously, how do I stop these slow, sneaky leaks? |

One thing you might try after you have a vauge idea where the leak is at try PC-11. It's a two part adhesive/patch and it'll set up in water according to the package. When it fully drys it'll set like steel.
One place the boat may be leaking from could be the rivets on the keel. Or a small pinhole leak towards the transom. Just a thought.
