| There is not a lot to report this week. The steelhead fishing is slowing down, but some are still being caught in the tribs and a number are getting hooked out in the lake. But the lake trout seems to be picking up. They seem to be in shallow water, with some being caught in the 35 ft. depth range. Especially in the North East area. Perch fishing seems to be hit and miss right now. There are reports of some nice perch being taken out of the bay area, in fact some have reported getting their limits. But from what I'm hearing that is the only area that seems to have any perch right now. The weather has been pretty cool this week so it hasn't helped warm up the water much. The bass aren't hitting quite yet. Some are being caught but nothing in great numbers. Walleye season starts tomorrow, Saturday, hopefully I can get some info to report for you next week. Till then keep the bait flyin and the fish jumpin. |
