Let me start by apoligizing for anything that I've said that sounded like I was bragging, I don't mean it that way. I would also like to thank those serious fisherman on the site that have answered any questions and post in a serious way. We never should respond to anyone who wasn't a serious post or who is just trying to pump some one up, that's not the reason for the site.

Wow, you guys need to chill. We are all fishermen, and you all would probably get along famously on a river - trading flies, or spawn, or just stories. I mostly just lurk on this site, but for anyone to start name calling, or degrading another, is pointless and pathetic - it doesn't matter who you are, or how often or infrequently you post, here.

A post about good fishing on the Grand River is no big deal - it is a very well known fishery, as anyone who has arrived there at the crack of 10:00AM knows all too well. And there really aren't all that many actual fishing reports on this site, like there are on some other sites.

Like my ole Daddy used to tell me, he said, "Son, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all." Dad was a lot smarter than I gave him credit for, when I was 19 years old.

If you go to the Grand River at 6th St dam this Saturday, and it is packed with other fishermen, it won't be because of this post. I can remember wading out to the boils on more than a couple Easter mornings, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with other guys to fish; way before the internet was popular. It isn't that busy anymore.

Judging from the background, that pic wasn't taken anywhere you could line fish. It definitely was not taken at 6th st, where most lining the on Grand occurs.

Nice fishing on a chilly Easter morning, Man.
