There is not a lot to report this week. The weather as usual has made things a little interesting arouind here the last few days. While there is a lot of edge ice the creeks are NOT frozen over. There are a lot of fish in the creeks and some die hard fishermen trying to find them. The forecast is for temps in the 40s and rain by Monday, with some snow today and tonight. So we'll have to wait and see what it does to the water level. I personally would not ventrue out on any ice, as the weather has been to unpredictable to really get a good freeze. But if you don't want to adventure out on the creeks check out the Cabin fever down at the Four Points Sheraton in Mars, PA. Over 30 exhibitors. March 2 from 9 - 4. Coming up in a couple of weeks, March 15th and 16th is the 5th annual Maple Syrup Weekend. Enjoy free sampes and free tours of some of the syrup houses in the area.
