| Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of weeks, but we haven't had a lot of anglers staying with us as the creeks have been running low and clear. And the fishing hasn't been real good this week. But there are still a lot of fish in the creeks with the average between 5 - 7 lbs. There was reportedly a 16 lb caught but I have not been able to verify that, thus the location has not been revealed. The fishing should still be good tomorrow but probably after that the creeks may be pretty much unfishable as they are calling for some really CCCCCCCCold artic air coming down our way and pretty much freezing everything up. It is supposed to remain below freezing for the next week at least. But the baits that seem to be working right now are wax worms, shiners, and egg sacs in various forms. Please don't hesitate to drop me a line at stay@thegreenroofinn.com and I will be happy to provide you with the very latest conditions/reports I have. Keep the bait flyin and the fish jumpin. |
