need help finding a water temp gauge used by my friend when we were fishing for trout/salmon out of Algoma, Wi last sept. It is battery operated and clipped on your weighted fishing line. Dropped down as far as you want and then retrieved. You press a button and it gives you water temp and depth at ascending integral about 10feet.
It is called Fish Finder thermometer/depth finder model GTM 40 manufactured by Koch Industries. He got his from Cabelas in 06. They do not carry it anymore and I have been on the web for a week trying to find it with no luck.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I do most of my fishing on Whitefish Bay of Lake of the Woods trolling for lake trout.
