For those of you interested, Ross has released a video taken at one of the Fly Shows. They discuss and show the Flow. Looks interesting. Here is the link to their site: http://www.rossreels.com

Interesting twist on an old favorite toy. I like the Ross flyreels I've owned over the years...nice quality at a decent price. But all that porting looks like it could be problematic in snow/dirt, though. Nice look, none-the-less. They do say it will be the "new standard in centerpins" Shocked

I'm getting one in January. I like Ross a lot and hope it works for them. I'll give a good honest opinion once I fish it. Someone has to do it. Very Happy

"Water shedding grooves on spool edge" - After seeing it on 360 degree view, I would say this can be potential skein or dirt happy area. Trying to clean them up from the grooves can be very fun compare to smooth surface like some other pins out there.

Anyone heard of the potential price of the "flow". Looks like it could be a decent mass reel for the right price.

OK so its Jan 3 2008 and the mailman has not brought me my Flow!!! Where is it?

OK realistically has any one received theirs or seen them on the shelves as yet? I'm really eager to spool one up and try it.

I have seen them in local shops in New York state. Played with it for a couple on minutes.
