| Well there isn't a lot to report today so far, we have had many anglers staying with us but no fantastic reports. The spring run that was predicted may not happen by the looks of it. The larger steelheads are being caught in the upper parts of the streams. There are reportedly holes that if you can find them there are some fresh fish there. We need rain to move them around. Single eggs, egg sacs and minnows seem to be the bait of choice. Right now the weather is nice and sunny but a little on the cool side, mid to high 50s. They are calling for rain a couple days next week. Hopefully things will pick up so you can keep the bait flying and the fish jumpin. |
