Well spring was here, it left, now it appears to be back, what next? Ice fishing has been touch and go all winter and with the recent warm up and then cool down it has continued that cycle, I can not verify the ice thickness so please use extreme caution when going out. Anglers and guides are telling me the tribs are all open, well at least before the recent cold snap, and there are steelies in the holes. They still expect a good spring run, which if the weather holds true next week it is supposed to be warmer, so things should start looking up. Hopefully it will be a good year as well for the perch, bass and walleye. So keep the bait flying and the fish jumpin.
