Hello.

I need help rigging my drift boat. I have purchased 4 great rod holders....they move all directions.on a 2 inch post I can push over if I do not need the height.....but I am unsure where to place them. I am not a guide and offen fish with 1 (me) or 2 people. I will place two up front but I do not know where I should put them. I could connect to the fishing "horn" or place them right next to the single up front swivle seat on the side ledge or through the hull. The back two I need to place where I can grab them from the rowers seat......but where. I am sure it is trial by error but each error is 3 holes in the boat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I also would like to put heat in the boat. Has anyone figured out a good setup?

Please help.

J~

I'm assuming you saw the articles we did on rigging. If not here's the links to the article

Rod Holders http://www.questoutdoors.net/gear/articles/hyderig/rodholders.html

Heater Instalation http://www.questoutdoors.net/gear/articles/hyderig/heater.html

One item to remember, if you place the holders up on the front casting brace you'll have a heck of a time reaching them when your by yourself Wink

If you have any additional questions or the article doesn't answer what ya need post a follow up to this post.
