Add in some Rhody Flatwings, Skok's Mush mouths, Puglisi's Peanut Butter's & you'd be all set |

Yeah, I know your kind ...8 flyboxes in a chest/back pack with every color combination and size possible A walking flyshop
Good additional suggestions and I did do well on a sparse 7" black/white flatwing at night in the tidal creeks for bass. Kenny Abrames has promoted them in his books and on his website and they do work well, particularly in moving water.
Personally, I am a minimalist so my advice lends itself in that direction. |

| Quote: | | Mid-September through Mid-October, right off the break wall opposite Galillee (that also where the albies are at times)...yak not necessary for a lot of the fishing out there. Surf candy, Clouser minnows, and Lefty's Deceivers on an intermediate line is all someone needs. |
Good on ya. That narrows timeframe (like now), location and the basic box at hand down nicely. As far as the other recipies... well, got a few winter nights to deal with them.
The Sea Eagle inflatable yak is a great little device to have in your back pocket. Won't leave home without it.

#1 - Any size Poon.
Hope to beach a babypoon in Guillermo Cuba this Feb. Apparently 15-30lbs are common in the canals behind the hotel. Well see. |

You must be a Cannuck if you are going to Cuba...smoke a few cigars for me while you are there. And a 15-30lb tarpon will tear you up pretty good, even with a 10wt...enjoy! I have had my best luck in FL with the "baby" tarpon using small white clousers. Make sure you bring a sinking line of some sorts as well. |
