I've noticed a few guys from the UK posting on here lately. As a member of Quest, I'd like to say thank you for your input on centerpin fishing on this board. You guys are the TRUE experts on this type of fishing, which has just recently caught on in the Great Lakes area of the states. If you guys ever find yourselves coming to our area, let me know and I'd be happy to show you some of our better fishing since I've been hitting our streams here for a long time (arcticsnowmonkey@hotmail.com).
Regards,
Mike |

Hi Mike,
thanks for the kind welcome.
It's all down to Glenn (Spindle) really - he's got a lot of time to kill since the birth of his new daughter, and came across this site in the wee small hours one night!
He then tipped us off - we are on an angling mailing list - and a few of us dropped by.
And we like it!
Surprisingly(?) there isn't, as far as I am aware, a similar center pin forum in the UK, so we'll be visiting a lot!
I don't know about any of us being experts (although I admit it's starting to look that way, judging by some contributions I've already read!) - we're really just enthusiasts like you guys. |

Hi Mike.
Yeh sorry about the invasion! If you get bored of us you can always disable our logins I guess!!
Still, centrepins are centerpins (!) whichever side of the pond we're on, and fishing with them is the same even if the fish themselves are different.
It also seems you have a number of people as enthusiastic about them as us which is nice!
And we'll definitely consider a steelhead fish-in one day!!!
