In a magazine called Creel - a UK angling magazine from the 1960's - LG Gough published his design for his lovely little centrepin, of which he made only 5. I've read that it's one of the nicest reels ever made (all a matter of preference of course). I like the reel a lot, it's my kind of simple design - very different from the Aerials I've got!
Anyway, here is the design as published by LG Gough in Creel - March 1964.
I can't take much credit for this - Nigel emailed me the scan of the design from his Creel mag (which sadly I don't own any copies of).
Anyway, if anybody has a lathe and fancies a go at making one of these... put my name down on your waiting list will you? ;o)
