The pier fishing is pretty consistent now in Wisconsin. Some pig kings and decent steelies have been showing up with steady off-shore winds. Glow spoons at night and alewives (under floats and off bottom) and silver/green spoons during light periods has been the ticket. Water temps are in the low 50's. Spoons seem to be outproducing bait.

| You Wisconsin boys are lucky right now. Over here in Michigan the water temps are warmer than a swimming pool...

It looks like you're fishing the north pier. Man you should have seen the amount of people tonight on both piers. 0 for 2 on steelies (gf had one right up to the pier and it came off) and caught 3 burbots.

Nice pics Jordan, glad someone is getting in on some pier action. We,ve been getting them out in the boat but nothing beats a fresh king on a lite stick. Might be heading over to see Chris and hit the piers sometime in the next couple of weeks, we should do some fishing.
ZobZob, are you getting the Burbot on dead alwives?

Yes... they were live but they died (small ones... the larger ones aren't around the piers right now in good numbers).

| Sorry, but you must be thinking of a different pier, I was fishing in a completely different area! The large sized alewives were very plentiful. Now its done, the winds switched back and the water 70 degrees.
