Hey Houston,
Nope it's not the rod I had... Give the guys at Loomis Canada a buzz. Don't waste your time with the American side of the house, at least yet.
http://www.gloomis.ca/
Just got back from up there and got to see about 9 float rods that are offered, or will be offered, in Canada. They've (Loomis CA) got way more options as well as some schweet rods!
Just shoot em an email and tell them what your looking for or what you need info on, I'm sure they'll be happy to help. If you can't find out whatcha need shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do.

Sage,
made it back home with no problems. Didn't get a chance to actually make it over to the Loomis facility, but met Lorne and the new Southern Ontario rep on Sunday. Don't know J.C..The Loomis CA factory was kind enough to send over the Float range with Neil when he was at the Muskegon Clave earlier this year. Quite a nice lineup of rods. Now if Loomis USA would only take their lead and offer more than one rod we'd be all set!
Was nice to meet you at the clave. Like to put a face to a name and great to learn that we've got some seriously knowledgeable fisherman posting on the board and helping guys out. If you're ever contemplating a trip over to our neck of the woods, make sure you drop us a line.
Best,
Brian |
