Detroit River Access
The Detroit River has many launch facilities, from public DNR and Metropark launches, to private hoists and marinas. Also, countless federal, state, county and local parks dot the rivers edge. There are quite a few locations where the shore bound angler can be just as successful as the boating community in catching fish. While the below listing doesn't cover shore facilities, all one needs is to drive down to the river and travel along it's banks to find the nearest public shore access.

Contact one of the many bait shops along the river for current conditions, access sites, and availability of bait, as well as the latest lures, techniques and other "advise".
