The Low Down:
It's about time!!! The larger cousins of the 17 have been a staple for many great lakes anglers for everything from riggers and dipseys for Salmon and Steelhead to longline and planer boards for Walleye and Muskie. Now the Walleye guys have a reel that's a little better sized for use, not to mention the Steelhead River pluggers will absolutely love this reel. Gone are the days of counting how many times your "line winder" goes across the spool!
Although we haven't had a chance to play with this reel yet, we will soon; nice release time Daiwa! Look for a full write up after a we use and abuse it in the "Quest Tested"section. - EZ
