Willy's Worm
From the "Producers", a sweet little lure! This is one of my go-to plugs for early, mid and late season Steelhead. Willy's Worms can be a bit touchy in heavy braided currents and less than ideal in very fast flows, but for all other water they work very, very well. |
Willy's Worms comes in 3 sizes, #1, #2, and #3. The #1 has a single hook and is about 2 1/4 inches long, the #2 (Steelhead Size!) comes with 2 hooks and is 3 inches long. Check out Quest's Hook Swap article for a great modification to turn these into even better plugs. The #3 also comes with 2 hooks and is 3 1/2 inches long. With a huge range of colors to choose from, even the most discerning plugger will find a favorite color!
